The Developer commissioned ICL to design, install and commission a full smart home. The lighting system and alarm would be fully installed but the AV system would have all the infrastructure installed but no end equipment would be supplied or fitted.
ICL designed and installed a complete Lighting Control System using Clipsal relay and dimmer modules, programmable wall switches and a colour touch screen installed discreetly into a custom rack unit located in the utility room. A galaxy alarm panel was installed and commissioned with PIR and vibration detection to all areas of the property. On the roof an aerial array for TV/DAB/SAT was installed and cabled back to the combiner/splitter located in the garage before being cabled through to the rack for distribution to the TV access wall plates installed in each room. A Telephone/Data network was installed with wall sockets in every room cabled back to the central hub. Ceiling speakers were fitted and cabled back to the rack for future use. The audio and visual systems for the property were cabled and terminated at the AV rack, but no actual equipment was installed.
The system installed for the developer is now ready to accept any equipment required by the future owner of the property.
