ICL were called back to this property by the new owners after we had previously worked here for the developer. The owners required ICL to supply and install a full AV system in the Home including a dedicated Media Room, CCTV monitoring and recording for all external areas and that all systems would be integrated into a single system controlled by remote touch screens.
ICL installed a Crestron processor enabling all systems to be integrated into one seamless user friendly interface. CCTV cameras were installed and connected to a DVR recorder and connected to the rack using baluns and the Cat5e secure network so the cameras could be viewed on any of the 3 supplied 50” plasma TV’s. An Orchid telephone system and broadband were connected to the network for distribution throughout the home. Apple Airport access points were installed to give the whole home wireless coverage.
The rack was fitted with a Living Control DVD/CD Server, Sky HD box, Sky+ box, 2 DAB radio receivers a Thor digital audio matrix and an Elan S12 AV matrix and amp were installed in the rack to handle all the homes AV requirements and distribution.
The Media Room was fitted with a Blu-Ray player, WII games console and its own Onkyo amp and sound processor producing full THX 7.1 Dolby digital surround sound. The media room was also connected to the central rack allowing selection of any of the AV sources available there.
The whole system including lighting, security and AV are controlled by the supplied Crestron touch screens which are programmed for easy navigation by the user.
