Objective: To design, Supply and Commission a fully integrated smart home for this Nottinghamshire luxury home. The integration was to cover the internal lighting for the house, the external lighting for the house and stables, the AV equipment including creating a media room, the security alarm and the CCTV.
On this project a custom built rack containing a Crestron processor, all AV source and distribution equipment, telephone system, broadband router, data hubs and the central CCTV DVR was placed in a small plant room that also contained all the intelligent Clipsal relay and dimmer modules for the property.
From the rack a secure Cat5e and RF network distributes all the AV and data signals to all areas of the house including the gym and pool where water resistant wall plates control the lighting and the AV.
On arrival at the property the first thing you see are the automatic gates where a state of the art intercom is installed, from here to the front door your way is illuminated in sequence with the use of PIR motion detection and the CCTV will have recorded your every move including a close up image showing the number plate of the vehicle you arrived in. For added security the entrance doors to the property have been fitted with fingerprint recognition for access.
