ICL were commissioned to design and install a smart home system including security, lighting and under floor heating.

Fully addressable intelligent C-BUS relay modules, dimmer modules and wall switches were installed to give control of the lighting system.
A galaxy alarm system was installed with PIR movement detection and viper vibration sensors to all areas of the property.
Thermostats were installed in all rooms with under floor heating and the solenoids for all the heating loops connected to C-BUS relay channels. With the addition of a central touch screen the user was able to control the desired temperature in each area individually.
The touch screen also included user changeable lighting scenes for the lighting in all areas of the property.
As this project was carried out for the developer it was agreed to install additional cabling to give the owners a system that could be easily expanded at any time in the future with any additional equipment or functionality added.
